    Special features :
    - DOS compatible OS
    - "PDA" apps with genuine text-mode touch!
    - It's a cinema actor! Featured in Terminator!

    Weak points :
    - Built-in Basic would have been very nice

Related machines in my collection :
    Keyboard PDAs :
    Sharp IQ-9200
    HP Omnigo 100
    Pocket computer :
    Casio PB-1000
    SHARP PCE 500

Aimed at mobile professionnals, this is one of the very first Pocket sized PC compatible. As for the OS, the portfolio uses a DOS compatible OS instead of a microsoft release.
As a matter of fact, the "PDA" features have this typical early DOS text-mode touch. No fancy graphics here, the apps will bring you back to the very first PCs era! With no special autoexec on, the machine will boot in DOS text mode, and you'll get the "C>" prompt. With 10 or more years difference, the machine was the equivalent of todays Pocket PCs running Windows CE : a smaller PC with classic apps, but with an OS that needs specific developments.
An integrated BASIC language would have been a neat addition to this machine' feature, but instead it was only available as an extension card.
