Sporting a color screen, the WQV-10 is the evolution of the WQV-1, the first digital camera watch, also released by Casio.
The WQV-1 was followed by the WQV-3, with the ability to take color pictures, but still with just a B&W screen. The WQV-10's major evolution is thus this highly anticipated color screen.
Another new feature is the digital x2 zoom... gadget I would say, as the image size is too small and the quality too low to make the zoom somewhat interesting. It will barely just produce blurry extrapolated views of the image onscreen. Do not expect any details to come out better once magnified with the zoom.
Other features are mostly the same as in previous WQVs (IR data transfer and other time management functions, 1MB memory...). The WQV-10 still has a power management system that will automatically turn the screen off when the watch doesn't move for a few minutes (internal sensors will detect the unit's movements).
For more informations and tech specs, i've created a mini-site dedicated to the WQV watches : click here for more info on Casio WQV digital camera watches!
